About me
I help teams and companies build software that is stable, maintainable, and future-proof.

Software is more than code
As an experienced Software Architect • Senior Developer • Mentor, I support you in clearly structuring complex requirements, reducing technical risks, and sustainably strengthening teams.
Years of Experience
Successful Projects
This is me
My interest in computers has existed for as long as I can remember. In my childhood and youth, I taught myself HTML and CSS. Later, Visual Basic.NET and PHP.
At 18, I began my apprenticeship as an IT specialist and, thanks to my extensive prior knowledge, was able to take on my own project very early on: a configurator for the sale of kitchen appliances.
Furthermore, the company also developed its own shop system, which paved my way into e-commerce. After my apprenticeship, I worked for some time at the same company, where I was able to simplify the daily work of online retailers by integrating with merchandise management systems and payment providers.
From the very beginning, I was always interested in not just writing code that works, but also ensuring it is understandable and that the underlying architecture remains maintainable. That's why I also spend my free time exploring patterns, methods, and soft skills in software development.
In 2017, I moved to Billbee GmbH, and at the same time, I founded my own business to focus on my own projects.
Thus, in my day-to-day work, I continued to work as a developer and architect in the e-commerce industry, where I simplified many processes for online merchants (e.g., connecting shop systems to retrieve orders and shipping service providers to create shipments), and alongside that, I implemented other exciting projects, such as mobile apps or kiosk systems for trade fairs.
In mid-2025, I decided to fully concentrate on my self-employment. So, in December 2025, I resigned from my permanent position and am now moving forward with even more energy for my mission.
My mission is not only to develop software but also to pass on my knowledge and experience as a mentor to other developers and architects.
While software is not an end in itself, one should still try to design it as well as possible!
My Values

Excellence
For me, quality is reflected not only in code but also in clear, reliable communication.

Partnership
I see my work as a collaborative partnership at eye level, focusing on long-term added value.

Continuous Learning
For me, continuous professional development is not a compulsion, but something I do out of interest and joy in good work.

Pragmatism
For me, a solution is good if it works – without unnecessary complexity or dogmatic rules.

Knowledge Transfer
It is important to me that clients can still understand what was done even after some time. Therefore, documentation is a crucial aspect of my approach.

Transparency
Sugarcoating things doesn't help anyone. Open communication and honest feedback are important to me. I don't make decisions based on gut feelings.

For larger projects, I collaborate with a proven network of project-based partners – specialized experts whom I bring in for optimal staffing:
- Senior Software Architects with 10+ years of experience
